Kimberley Chan

Kimberley first became interested in Osteopathy. osteopathy after work experience with an osteopath and questioned the conventional methods she had tried for lower back pain since 14 years of age. Following studies at the University of Birmingham in Medical Sciences and receiving a BMedSc (hons), she went on to study at the British School of Osteopathy and received an M.Ost in 2010.

Since graduating, Kimberley has returned home to Nottingham to practice and has furthered her career in Dry Needling/Western Acupuncture and also Cranial Osteopathy at the Sutherland Cranial College. She treats using a mainly biomechanical approach but also incorporates these skills to suit the patients needs.

Believing in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Kimberley enjoys running, swimming, yoga, indoor yoga and most recently added surfing to her list of activities. She uses aspects of these sports to help prescribe exercises suitable to the patient.

Osteopathy offers a diverse range of specialities but Kimberley hopes to pursue further studies in treating babies and children and also Classical Osteopathy. With her scientific background, she also hopes to use this within the Osteopathic field and contribute towards the development of Osteopathy.
